1. Purpose



This Media Consent Agreement (“Agreement”) governs the collection, use, and publication of photographs, video recordings, and other media containing images or likenesses of participants during surf lessons provided by Salty Souls Surf (“Company”). By booking a class or participating in any activity offered by the Company, you agree to the terms set forth herein.



2. Scope of Consent



Participants acknowledge and agree that:


  1. Photographs, videos, and other media may be captured during surf lessons for purposes including, but not limited to:
    • Training and instructional use
    • Safety monitoring
    • Marketing, promotional, and social media content
    • Website and printed materials

  3. The media may include images, voice recordings, and other identifiable information related to the participant.




3. Grant of Rights



By accepting this Agreement, you grant Salty Souls Surf the irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free right and license to:


  1. Use, reproduce, publish, distribute, and display the media in any form, format, or medium, whether now known or hereafter developed.
  2. Alter, edit, or adapt the media for promotional or instructional purposes.
  3. Share the media with partners, affiliates, or service providers for the purposes outlined in Section 2.




4. Duration



The consent granted herein is valid indefinitely from the date of acceptance, unless expressly revoked in writing as provided in Section 6.



5. No Compensation



You acknowledge and agree that you will receive no monetary or other compensation for the use of your image or likeness as permitted by this Agreement.



6. Revocation of Consent



You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time by contacting the Company via email at infosaltysurfin@gmail.com. Upon receipt of a revocation request, the Company will:


  1. Cease future use of your media in new publications.
  2. Make commercially reasonable efforts to remove your media from digital platforms, subject to technical and legal limitations.




7. Privacy and Data Protection



All media will be handled in accordance with the Company’s Privacy Policy, ensuring security and confidentiality. Media will not be sold or shared with third parties beyond the purposes outlined in this Agreement, except as required by law.



8. Acknowledgment



By booking a class or participating in activities offered by Salty Souls Surf, you confirm that:


  • You have read and fully understand this Media Consent Agreement.
  • You voluntarily grant consent for your image and likeness to be used as described.
  • If you are a parent or guardian of a minor participant, you accept these terms on behalf of the minor and confirm that you have the legal authority to do so.
