By using our website and/or renting surfboards from Salty Souls, you agree to the following terms and conditions.


1. 

Booking and Payment



1.1. All bookings must be made online or in-person through our official channels.

1.2. Payment is required at the time of booking. We accept credit/debit cards, PayPal, and other standard payment methods.

1.3. Prices are in AUD and include GST where applicable.

1.4. Bookings are confirmed only after full payment and receipt of confirmation from Salty Souls.





2. 

Cancellation and Refund Policy



2.1. Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the booking date will receive a full refund.

2.2. Refunds will be processed within 48 hours of cancellation.

2.3. No refunds are provided for missed bookings or early returns due to weather, tide, or sea conditions.





3. 

Equipment Use



3.1. Customers must be at least 18 years old to rent surfboards.

3.2. Customers must use equipment responsibly, following all safety instructions and local regulations.

3.3. Customers are liable for any damage, loss, or theft of surfboards during the rental period.

3.4. Equipment must be returned to 26 Old Burleigh Road, Queensland at the agreed time. Late returns may incur additional charges.





4. 

Liability



4.1. Surfing involves inherent risks, including injury or property damage.

4.2. Salty Souls does not cover personal injury or damage to third-party property.

4.3. Customers are fully responsible for any damage to the surfboards.

4.4. Failure to follow safety instructions may result in termination of rental without refund.





5. 

Weather and Sea Conditions

 

5.1. Rentals may be postponed or cancelled due to unsafe sea conditions, including strong winds, high tides, or marine hazards.

5.2. Salty Souls is not liable for losses due to weather-related cancellations.

5.3. Customers are responsible for monitoring local conditions and exercising caution at all times.

Privacy and Cookies



6.1. Personal information collected for bookings will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.

6.2. We may use your information to contact you about bookings, promotions, or safety updates.

6.3. Our website uses cookies in compliance with GDPR regulations to improve user experience. Users can manage cookie preferences via our website interface.

Governing Law



7.1. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.

7.2. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved under the jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.

By proceeding with a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions, including full responsibility for any damage to rented surfboards.
